Civic WorksNonprofit Spotlight

Civic Works, Inc is an AmeriCorps funded program that strengthens Baltimore's communities through education, skills development, and community service. Since 1993 they have engaged an average of 1,500 volunteers a year. A few of their accomplishments include converting 190 vacant spaces, tutoring and mentoring 33,809 students and assisting 157 participants in earning a GED. Learn more and volunteer.
